Wizard Monster - The Classic KOÓS Catfish Rig 9/0+11/0 Round

Catfish rig tied with textile thread protected by a silicone varnish, rattles with encapsulated metal balls and two hooks placed at a small distance for the best fixation of live or dead baits. 
The swivel with which the rig is attached to the main line is an extremely robust one, with an inserted internal bearing. 
It is a rig that is best suited with reinforcement with live minnow, which must be pricked in the rib area to avoid damaging the spinal cord. The idea is to keep the minnow alive for as long as possible and, preferably in the water column, not on the substrate. The rattle brings an extra attraction, by hitting the metal balls against its walls. With each movement of the minnow, the rattle will be activated. 
Recommendation: The small hook (the helper) is stuck in the fin of the bait fish. If it is smaller in size, then the helper hook can remain free. In this case, we thread the auxiliary hook thread onto the shank of the main hook - in order to avoid wiggles caused by the continuous movement of the small fish. 
We will always place the hooks in different directions when we attach them to the bait small fish. We recommend this to increase the chance of a sting when the catfish attacks.
