Comet Mepps functioneaza foarte bine, atat in lacuri ,cat si în ape curgătoare și in locuri unde curentii sunt întrerupți de pietre. Mărimea rotativei este importantă. Regula generală este să folosiți dimensiunile mai mici pentru a prinde pești mai mici și mai mari pentru a prinde pești mai mari.
